Weekly Recap: A Government Out Of Control

Big-Government

What I have taken away from this past week – these three different scandals should provide enough evidence to American that Obama’s big government agenda only leads to lies and corruption and that his entire Administration should be removed from the White House immediately.

It is evident to me that many in the United States believe that big government is the way to go because they believe that a big centralized government really is a ‘government for the people’.

The way I see it is that the broad idea of big government is a government where it’s intentions is too help out the citizens; protecting the weak from the strong, giving up some freedom to protect us from threats abroad, and making sure that there is balance between the different classes of society. The idea of that sounds great but people tend to forget that most politicians are power hungry and will take that idea of ‘helping out the people’ to a whole different level.

Government in the United States is starting to become so big that it has the power and willingness to probe it’s citizens to get any information that they want and for whatever reason they deem necessary. This is obvious now with the IRS scandal as they were (what I believe) directed by Obama’s Department of United States Treasury to target right winged groups and individuals who spoke put against Obama and his big government agenda during the 2012 election. I believe this was done to not only sway the election but to also intimidate and silence those against Obama. It’s a scary thought but it’s just so obvious.

America should be really worried and take notice of these scandals as a reminder that a nanny state is never the solution to our problems, but rather a leaner government that allows its people to seek their full potential with maximum freedom.

Now I keep harping on the Obama Administration but it isn’t just Obama, the GOP is just as bad. The following bumper sticker picture is a perfect example of just what I mean –

GOP party of smallER BIG government

President George W. Bush’s Presidency is a great example of a smaller but still big government. The GOP is not representative of the majority of those that did not vote for Barack Obama.

America needs radical change to reduce the size of government before America becomes entirely unrecognizable and I believe Libertarianism is the solution.

“Government Is The Problem”

The Best President of the Past 100 Years

A Man of Honor

“In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.

Today I just wanted to share one of my favorite quotes from President Reagan.

Reagan stating that government isn’t the solution but rather the problem is like beautiful music to my ears. It’s my absolute favorite quote from my favorite political figure. President Reagan was a man of class, integrity, honor and dignity. He spoke from the heart, it was evident in everything he said and everything he did.

A President like Reagan is exactly what this country needs right now; to restore honor and integrity to the White House and to lead this country away from our reliance on big government.
