This week has been quite a bit quieter compared to last week when the Benghazi, IRS and AP scandals started to gain some serious traction. While details about the scandal aren’t coming out as fast and furious as they were a week ago, there still have been some substantial developments on the DOJ spying on FOX News reporter James Rosen. Did Attorney General Eric Holder lie under oath about not being involved with okaying his department to warrant a search against the reporter? ABC News sums up the details here.
My posts this week were pretty much all over the place but the one I enjoyed writing most was where I gave my opinion on Senator Ted Cruz stating that he doesn’t ‘trust Republicans’ nor does he trust the Democrats. He is clearly distancing himself from the corrupt establishment in Washington and I love it. Cruz has stated that he will be running for another term in the Senate come 2016, but what about a Presidential run? CNN has details on his possible run here.
Another story that really grabbed my attention has started to break across news outlets lately and it has do to with a strip search that was conducted on a 10th grade class in Canada. Yes, you read that right, a school conducted a strip search on a 10th grade class after a phone went missing. You can read about that here.
I am really hoping for some bombshell information to come out of the scandals that will put the final nail in the coffin of Obama’s Presidency and hopefully that happens soon, this coming week would be perfect.
The Benghazi scandal has been going on for almost a year now and a ton of details have started to emerge lately that raises even more questions to exactly what took place on September 11, 2012.
With all the hearings and press briefings regarding the terrorist attack in Benghazi, it can get quite confusing to try and piece everything together to truly understand what this whole scandal contains.
Fortunately, the Heritage Foundation has released a video that summarizes most of what’s happened within the past 8 months. I recommend watching it and posting it to your social feeds so that your friends and family can watch and be aware of just how serious and scandalous this Benghazi cover up really is.
What I have taken away from this past week – these three different scandals should provide enough evidence to American that Obama’s big government agenda only leads to lies and corruption and that his entire Administration should be removed from the White House immediately.
It is evident to me that many in the United States believe that big government is the way to go because they believe that a big centralized government really is a ‘government for the people’.
The way I see it is that the broad idea of big government is a government where it’s intentions is too help out the citizens; protecting the weak from the strong, giving up some freedom to protect us from threats abroad, and making sure that there is balance between the different classes of society. The idea of that sounds great but people tend to forget that most politicians are power hungry and will take that idea of ‘helping out the people’ to a whole different level.
Government in the United States is starting to become so big that it has the power and willingness to probe it’s citizens to get any information that they want and for whatever reason they deem necessary. This is obvious now with the IRS scandal as they were (what I believe) directed by Obama’s Department of United States Treasury to target right winged groups and individuals who spoke put against Obama and his big government agenda during the 2012 election. I believe this was done to not only sway the election but to also intimidate and silence those against Obama. It’s a scary thought but it’s just so obvious.
America should be really worried and take notice of these scandals as a reminder that a nanny state is never the solution to our problems, but rather a leaner government that allows its people to seek their full potential with maximum freedom.
Now I keep harping on the Obama Administration but it isn’t just Obama, the GOP is just as bad. The following bumper sticker picture is a perfect example of just what I mean –
President George W. Bush’s Presidency is a great example of a smaller but still big government. The GOP is not representative of the majority of those that did not vote for Barack Obama.
America needs radical change to reduce the size of government before America becomes entirely unrecognizable and I believe Libertarianism is the solution.
Destroying the Constitution is what Obama does Best
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney appeared on ‘Piers Morgan Live’ last night and continued to do what he does best, lie for the Obama Administration. Piers Morgan did a decent job asking some tough questions but all Jay did was deflect and say some pretty shameful stuff throughout the interview. Below are some of my favorites or more specifically the quotes that made my head want to explode.
Jay continued to blame Republicans for politicizing Benghazi saying “Especially with regard to the Benghazi affair that was contrived by Republicans and, I think, has fallen apart largely this week”. The crap he was spewing from his foul mouth continued with this nauseating line “The fact of the matter is that this administration has a record on transparency that outdoes any previous administrations. And we are committed to that. The president is committed to that.”
You have got to be kidding me. How in the hell can Jay Carney saying something so false and untrue!? How!? I do not know how much more of this BULL CRAP I can take. Jay Carney and this entire Administration needs to do America a BIG favor and get the hell out of Washington!
Was Obama transparent on Obama Care? No!
Was Obama transparent on Benghazi? No!
Has Obama transparent on either the IRS or AP scandals? No!
Remember when Barack Obama said this? –
Remember when Obama promised that his Administration was going to be the most transparent in history? –
Obama is nothing but a liar and I cannot wait until he and his entire scandalous posse leave the White House.
Here is part of the interview, but I warn you, you might throw your computer out the window so proceed with caution –
Barack Obama promised many ways he was going to change the way Washington is run, all for the better but he has managed to break all those promises, here are seven broken promises from Obama since taking office in 2009 –
