Weekly Recap: White House Scandals Quietly Gaining Momentum

white-house-scandals

This week has been quite a bit quieter compared to last week when the Benghazi, IRS and AP scandals started to gain some serious traction. While details about the scandal aren’t coming out as fast and furious as they were a week ago, there still have been some substantial developments on the DOJ spying on FOX News reporter James Rosen. Did Attorney General Eric Holder lie under oath about not being involved with okaying his department to warrant a search against the reporter? ABC News sums up the details here.

My posts this week were pretty much all over the place but the one I enjoyed writing most was where I gave my opinion on Senator Ted Cruz stating that he doesn’t ‘trust Republicans’ nor does he trust the Democrats. He is clearly distancing himself from the corrupt establishment in Washington and I love it. Cruz has stated that he will be running for another term in the Senate come 2016, but what about a Presidential run? CNN has details on his possible run here.

Another story that really grabbed my attention has started to break across news outlets lately and it has do to with a strip search that was conducted on a 10th grade class in Canada. Yes, you read that right, a school conducted a strip search on a 10th grade class after a phone went missing.  You can read about that here.

I am really hoping for some bombshell information to come out of the scandals that will put the final nail in the coffin of Obama’s Presidency and hopefully that happens soon, this coming week would be perfect.

The Majority Of The Left Is Astonishingly Deficient

liberals

The left is possibly the most incredibly selfish and misinformed group of individuals that I have ever encountered. During the 2012 elections, I had multiple discussions with some Liberal peers about their reasons for voting for Barack Obama over Mitt Romney. Now while some of them were honest and said ‘I’m not going to be voting because they both suck’ or ‘I really don’t pay attention so I won’t be voting’ (I believe that not voting is voting) I also ran into some individuals that said their reasoning for voting for Barack Obama was because he is for ‘gay marriage’ and has ‘got this country out of a deep economic hole’.

First off, yes the President has said that in a way he is for marriage equality but he as President will never make it legal and will never make a push for it. I believe that Obama only said he was for gay marriage so he could appeal to the stupid and misinformed because the stupid and misinformed will say ‘Oh! Obama is for gay marriage! That is awesome! I am totally voting for him regardless of the fact that we’re in deep debt and still have bad unemployment numbers!’.

Obama used social issues as a front to hide the fact that his economy still sucked and that his incredibly wasteful stimulus package of 2009 did absolutely nothing to help this economy.

I got into multiple debates about the 2012 election with some friends and acquaintances and most of those debates were very civilized, however there was one that really irked me. It was a very deep debate with a fellow gay right before the election. While I made my points he would try to defend himself by saying things like ‘how could you vote for Romney? He isn’t for you to have equal rights!’. This dumb ass didn’t even know that Obama said that it was up to the states to legalize gay marriage.

So not only did this incompetent jerk not know that Obama openly said that it was up to each state to legalize gay marriage, he didn’t even understand that Obama passing any sort of Amendment to the Constitution to legalize gay marriage is virtually impossible due to the checks and balances system of the United States.

One of my main arguments for voting for Romney during the election was that my right to marry whomever I want isn’t nearly as important as getting millions of people back to work and whenever I brought up to him, he would immediately deflect my facts with offensive remarks, calling me names and saying that I was ‘a selfish gay’.

Are you kidding me!? I am selfish because I voted for a man who has a background in growing businesses versus a President who contributed $5 trillion in debt over just four years with absolutely no solid results? I was clearly the selfish one.

After that debacle, I realized that debating with the stupid and misinformed wasn’t even worth it anymore because I would get just so frustrated; even now writing about this incident all these months later still gets my blood boiling!

Now unfortunately I believe that this mindset of ‘Barack Obama has the power to legalize gay marriage and that is all I care about’ is exactly the mindset of the overwhelming majority of the gay population and frankly lots of the youth of this country because this is the kind of conversation I had with multiple people around the same age as me (I am 20) during the election.

Every time I put out facts about the poor Obama economy, the left would try their best to disregard the facts and make poor excuses for the President or just begin calling me names. That is what the majority of the left does all the time.

I really do believe that those who associate themselves with the far left are very misguided and incredibly misinformed.

Devolping: IRS Official Lois Lerner Placed On Administrative Leave

Lois Lerner

Well this is really fishy. First, Lois Lerner pleads the fifth and now she is place on Administrative leave? If that doesn’t mean she’s guilty and hiding some serious information regarding the IRS scandal then I don’t know what other evidence America needs to punish her.

Enjoy your paid vacation, Lois.

CNN Political Ticker

Washington (CNN) – The Internal Revenue Service official overseeing the unit that targeted conservative groups for several years beginning in the spring of 2010 has been placed on administrative leave, according to Congressional sources in both parties.

Lois Lerner was the director of exempt organizations when the agency filtered applications for tax exempt status for words such as “patriot” and “tea party.”

Weekly Recap: A Government Out Of Control

Big-Government

What I have taken away from this past week – these three different scandals should provide enough evidence to American that Obama’s big government agenda only leads to lies and corruption and that his entire Administration should be removed from the White House immediately.

It is evident to me that many in the United States believe that big government is the way to go because they believe that a big centralized government really is a ‘government for the people’.

The way I see it is that the broad idea of big government is a government where it’s intentions is too help out the citizens; protecting the weak from the strong, giving up some freedom to protect us from threats abroad, and making sure that there is balance between the different classes of society. The idea of that sounds great but people tend to forget that most politicians are power hungry and will take that idea of ‘helping out the people’ to a whole different level.

Government in the United States is starting to become so big that it has the power and willingness to probe it’s citizens to get any information that they want and for whatever reason they deem necessary. This is obvious now with the IRS scandal as they were (what I believe) directed by Obama’s Department of United States Treasury to target right winged groups and individuals who spoke put against Obama and his big government agenda during the 2012 election. I believe this was done to not only sway the election but to also intimidate and silence those against Obama. It’s a scary thought but it’s just so obvious.

America should be really worried and take notice of these scandals as a reminder that a nanny state is never the solution to our problems, but rather a leaner government that allows its people to seek their full potential with maximum freedom.

Now I keep harping on the Obama Administration but it isn’t just Obama, the GOP is just as bad. The following bumper sticker picture is a perfect example of just what I mean –

GOP party of smallER BIG government

President George W. Bush’s Presidency is a great example of a smaller but still big government. The GOP is not representative of the majority of those that did not vote for Barack Obama.

America needs radical change to reduce the size of government before America becomes entirely unrecognizable and I believe Libertarianism is the solution.

“Government Is The Problem”

The Best President of the Past 100 Years

A Man of Honor

“In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.

Today I just wanted to share one of my favorite quotes from President Reagan.

Reagan stating that government isn’t the solution but rather the problem is like beautiful music to my ears. It’s my absolute favorite quote from my favorite political figure. President Reagan was a man of class, integrity, honor and dignity. He spoke from the heart, it was evident in everything he said and everything he did.

A President like Reagan is exactly what this country needs right now; to restore honor and integrity to the White House and to lead this country away from our reliance on big government.

Susan Rice To Be National Security Advisor?

Her Punishment is a Promotion

Her Punishment is a Promotion?

According to The Cable Susan Rice will more than likely be promoted to National Security Advisor. Sources close to the news site say that “It’s definitely happening” regarding her appointment to NSA.

How in the hell does someone who does this (this is just one example out of a total of 5 appearances) –

get promoted to National Security Advisor? As we have heard time after time, there was no spontaneous protest from outrage over a stupid YouTube video. Yes she was just reading over talking points handed to her from the White House but still, if she had any bit of decency and integrity then she would look at those 12 revisions and think that something fishy must be going on and come to the conclusion that she shouldn’t go on 5 different talk shows and lie to the American people.

Susan Rice does not deserve to be in such a position, I don’t trust it and neither should America but it’s not a surprise that this is coming from the Obama Administration. The scumbags he appoints to high positions is a strong reflection of himself and the kind of corruption that is currently running through Washington.

Obama must have been pretty impressed with the way she handled all those Sunday talk shows on 9/17 with those false talking points, “You’ve proven yourself to be a damn good liar, Susan. I admire that, it gives me hope for my agenda. How about a nice promotion to National Security Advisor?”.

Now that’s obviously not what happened but I wouldn’t be surprised if that was Obama’s crooked mindset. Instead of a punishment, she gets a promotion, unless her punishment was a promotion.

Obama’s Web Of Lies Leading To Impeachment?

These are bad times for Obama

These are bad times for Obama

The word ‘Impeachment’ is such a strong and scary word when regarding the office of the President of the United States.

Only twice in the history of this great country has a President been impeached. President Johnson in 1868 because of his overuse of Vetoing, multiple misdemeanors and interference with elections. President Johnson was acquitted by one vote in the Senate.

And then of course Bill Clinton back in 1998 due to the Monica Lewinsky affair; lying under oath about exactly his nature of relationship with the intern. Impeachment proceedings went through the House of Representatives but failed to make it to vote in the Senate leaving Clinton in office.

Barack Obama once promised that transparency would be one of the highlights of his Administration saying “Going forward, anytime the American people want to know something that I or a former President wants to withhold, we will have to consult with the Attorney General and the White House counsel, whose business it is to ensure compliance with the rule of law. Information will not be withheld just because I say so; it will be withheld because a separate authority believes my request is well-grounded in the Constitution. Let me say it as simply as I can: transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this Presidency”. This quickly proved to be untrue from the beginnings of his time in office. Obama’s Presidency has acted quite the opposite of ‘transparent’ and it is no more obvious than it is now with all the web of lies currently facing the Administration.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz spoke with CNN about the ‘I’ word just recently “Look, it’s not something I’m seeking,” the Republican congressman from Utah said on CNN’s “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.” “It’s not the endgame; it’s not what we’re playing for. I was simply asked, is that within the realm of possibilities, and I would say ‘yes.’ I’m not willing to take that off the table. But that’s certainly not what we’re striving for.” Of course it isn’t something they’re striving for, it would be a dark day for America if Impeachment were to happen. He went on to say “We want truth. We want to have the president do what he has said he would always do, and that is, be open and transparent. Thus far, the White House has not done that.”

What we see cooking up in Washington right now with all these scandals coming out at once is much worse than what faced Johnson, Nixon or Clinton. Obama tried to cover up and lessen the impact of four dead Americans in Benghazi, allowed or was unaware and incompetent of the IRS targeting tea partiers and patriots during the 2012 elections and again was either unaware or incompetent of his own DOJ intruding the first Amendment rights of the Associated Press. That’s at least three solid reasons to have Impeachment proceedings but Impeachment proceedings will only happen if the scandals continue to be pursued by those in Washington and those in the media; only they have the resources to dig through the lies and see just how far up these scandals go.

Hell, we pretty much already know that Obama is deeply involved with trying to downplay the 9/11 terror attack in Benghazi, that ordeal is very much indefensible and he knows it.

I’m really hoping that something comes out of all this mess. The main stream media is finally stepping up their game and being actual journalists. I’m remaining cautiously optimistic that justice will be served upon the corrupt individuals inside Washington.

America deserves the truth and they deserve a government that doesn’t abuse it’s powers. I’m sick of the lies from this Presidency. It’s time for Obama and his allies to either be removed through justice of law or to resign with some sort of dignity and integrity that may be left in them.

However I think the scariest thing about this whole possible Impeachment deal is that if this goes through then we’d have Gaffe Master Biden as President. Now that’s pretty frightening.
